Clay has always fascinated me since I was a young child where we sculpted and made things that I myself was impressed by at the time but I remember being confused how clay gets cooked and gets hard. When I see my work now I want improvement, I feel like there is much more I could do with all of the elements of art. I wish my art pieces could convey a sense of solitude and tranquility and leave people questioning why I made something a certain way. Clay is interesting in the different stages it has when it goes from being soft and damp to hard and dry, I like this feature the most and I hate the smell of the clay, it's too earthy and dirt-like.
